Most people spend New Year's Eve with family and friends playing games, watching movies, going to parties, or whatever keeps them entertained. This year, Sam and I thought it would be fun to have a baby.Logan William Beard joined our family on December 31, 2007 at 2:39pm, weighing 7 lbs. 15 ozs. and was 18.5 inches long. It was a long 20 hour labor, but well worth it. He was a few weeks early, as his due date wasn't until Jan. 17, 08, but we figured we would let him come early and at least get that tax break. :) I don't even think we realized it was New Year's Eve until one of the nurses came in at midnight to say "Happy New Year".
What a great way to end 2007 and start 2008!!!
