Adventures

Our first summer as a married couple, we decided to explore what the great state of Washington had to offer. From Quinalt Lodge on Quinalt Lake to driving the North Cascade Loop, I would say we hit just about everything. It was our plan that one weekend a month during the summer, we would go somewhere. I think the idea started when drove around Mt. Rainier. We thought it would be fun to see what else was out there.
We experienced some random things...like who would have though that Subway in Leavenworth would have no bread? Or that there would be absolutely no rest stops on the North Cascade Loop? (My advice to anyone who decides to drive that would be to stop at any small town you may hit along the way.)
It was a chance to get away from things at home, even if only for a short weekend.
