You would think that since we had just moved into a larger condo and had done all that remodeling that we would stay there longer than one year. But you would be wrong. Apparently, Sam and I like the challenge of packing up all of our stuff and moving to a new place every year.
It's funny how things work out. I told Sam after our last move that there would be no way I would move again in December. But here we were, packing up our things and moving. Only this time, I was 8 months pregnant and on bed rest. That made for a very fun time.
Long story short, some guy in our condo complex was interested in a 3 bedroom condo and we had one. We had been talking about eventually getting a house, what with a baby coming and all. I didn't think it would actually happen. We let this guy see it without putting it on the market. I figured if he was interested then we would let him know when we decided to sell. He had other things in mind. A few hours after seeing our place, he put in an offer and we accepted. So there we were, selling our place, with no idea of where to go. Luckily we found a development in Bothell, WA that was currently under construction. We found a house we liked, made an offer and after it was built, we moved in. (Dec. 14, 2007)
Maybe this time we'll stay put for awhile. :)
